This organization is reaching high to provide as much assistance as possible.
We have three projects going on in Muzaffarabad, Azad Kashmir. This city was struck by a devastating earthquake more than 10 years ago, losing 80,000 lives and near total destruction of the city.
2021
Patika Village near Muzaffarabad does not have a secondary school and many of the children, especially girls have problem continuing their education after primary school.
We decided to build and support a state of the art secondary school with delivery of high standard and quality education there, leveraging technology and reinforcement of children’s education with online resources like Khan Academy and Sabaq Foundation.
2019
In Patika village, a suburb of Muzaffarabad, there is a primary school, but no secondary school. Many children especially girls, drop out because of their inability to travel the distance to farther situated secondary school.
This year we constructed a class room for 6th grade and got almost the whole 5th grade registered for 6th grade. We are going to support a teacher's salary and next year plan to take the school to 7th grade. Every year we will go one grade up until 10th grade which is the last year of high schools in Pakistan.
2018
We are trying to sponsor education of the underprivileged children, especially orphans. Their mothers have no education and are unable to earn any income. They unwillingly send their kids to work at an early age to provide for the family.
We support these families by providing a fixed amount of money to the mothers with the stipulation to keep the children in the school. Incidentally, almost half of our sponsored children are girls.
We already have sponsored the education of about 40 children in Muzaffarabad, Azad Kashmir.
